How the AI coaching works

What is AI-generated. Coach answers, hand reviews, quiz questions and grading, simulated-hand feedback, and the weekly Coach's Letter are produced by large language models. Every surface that shows graded or generated output is labeled as AI.

Grounded in your library. Where possible, answers are built from excerpts of the study material you uploaded, and cite those sources by title. When your library doesn't cover a question, the coach says so and answers from general poker knowledge instead.

Providers. We use Anthropic Claude for coaching prose and Google Gemini for structured analysis and search embeddings. Your content is processed under each provider's API terms and is not used to train their models.

It can be wrong. Model output is analysis, not ground truth. Ranges, sizings, and reads can be imprecise, especially in unusual spots. Treat it as a strong study partner whose work you check, not an oracle.

No real-time assistance. This is a study tool for between sessions. Using it during live play may violate the rules of your poker site or card room, and the app is not designed, and must not be used, for real-time decision support.
